Now that I've woken up (did I really sleep for six hours? That'll just do wonders for my circadian cycle), I am going to attempt to treat my migraine headache and retreat to my room, where I hope I won’t be disturbed. (You may all read that as: If you disturb me, there will be mass violence, and don't think I won't resort to projectiles. Take it as a threat all you like.)

Were I a different kind of person, I would have some very strongly-worded things to say about people who cannot mind their own bloody business. People in the plural. Was there a memo? Anyone else up for giving it a go? I'm sure you all have some hard-earned life experience you're just dying to share. You might want to hurry, though, or my headache will go away and you will have to settle for less net suffering.

I hate this thing. Computer screen's flickering at me. I think it's cursed. It, or me.

Flickering screen's probably a good clue you should log off for a while, he says to what's probably an empty void because you've logged off already . . . :)

When your headache's gone, up for another movie? There's the Star Wars prequels, you can marvel at how much George Lucas sucks in his late middle age, or else it's always therapeutic to pop in some Jackie Chan and imagine the people he's beating up with ladders and flowerpots and other innocent household items are the people bugging you.

Yeah, not staring directly at a lightsource helped my condition extensively.

There are more of those movies? Does anyone, say, kiss their sister much to the surprise of the unknowing blonde in the audience?

Although the movies with the violence sound appealing as well.

Wasn't I nice not to offer to put a little wager on that plot point? :) Yeah, there's two more, and the third (well, sixth) should be in theaters in the next few years. They're set before the plot of the first three, which is kinda weird because they were made thirty years later and you get fun questions like "So why is it that all the technology in the movies that take place later looks like it was built in the 70s?"

And everybody should watch Jackie Chan.

Yes, ever so kind. Your magnanimousness is legendary. Mythic, really.

Especially since you'd seen it all before, and didn't tell me about the questionable bits so I wouldn't scar myself for life.

Hey, scarring yourself for life on the Star Wars romantic subplot is part of the experience. As it was done to me, so do I do to others, amen. The only way to feel better is to turn around, find somebody who hasn't seen them, and get yourself on the other end of the equation now. :)

Hope the headache's gone today?

I recall that I made you an offer, that day I helped introduce you to the punching bag. Still open, if you're interested...

Headache's gone today. More or less.

As to the offer... yes, please.

Let me just finish up this marking...
