Well, that's done.
Aug. 25th, 2004 08:46 pmKitty's going to room with me. No fuss over it, thank the gods.
Who's in our suite? When are we supposed to vacate this room? The public needs to know.

Date: 2004-08-25 05:50 pm (UTC)I'm moving tonight. Or I would be, only I am now lost in a four-foot drift of packing peanuts.

Date: 2004-08-25 05:57 pm (UTC)Ignoring for the moment the ridiculousness of the term "packing peanuts", want some help with whatever they are? I can probably catch at least some of them in a stepping disk...

Date: 2004-08-25 06:02 pm (UTC)Packing peanuts are those little styrofoam padding things that get put in boxes to protect the contents during ship--actually, y'know, you might not remember them by that name, but I used to call them "ghost poop" and flick them at you, if that rings any bells.
And yeah, that'd be a big help, could you stick 'em in the dumpster out back? I keep finding new and different things that Doug has rigged to explode, and I'm starting to think my laundry hamper is smirking at me and daring me to open it.

Date: 2004-08-25 06:16 pm (UTC)I still don't have the vaguest idea what you're talking about, but I'll be down momentarily, and I'll be sure to put all of it somewhere it won't clutter anyone's living space.
No matter how much they deserve it.
I mean, it is against the rules to use my powers for evil, right? Right.

Date: 2004-08-25 06:22 pm (UTC)Maybe if I actually flick one at you when you show up . . . well, okay, now I'm just making up excuses to throw styrofoam at people. Which is dumb, because who needs an excuse for that?
Would it be evil, or just mischievous? Because mischievous is okay.

Date: 2004-08-25 06:33 pm (UTC)Great, now there's going to be styrafoam in my hair.
Mischievous, I should think, but considering that often the fact that I breathe is considered evil here by certain people, I'm not going to take a chance. After all, nothing spells "awful creature from beyond" more than whatever it is I do. I don't know, understanding idiot logic is beyond me.

Date: 2004-08-25 06:52 pm (UTC)Styrofoam is good for hair. I'm pretty sure. It adds balance, or body, or luster, or something.
See, I haven't actually watched you breathe. Maybe you do it in an evil way. Like, subsonic supervillain laughter on the exhale, or something.
Then again, maybe people are just silly.

Date: 2004-08-25 07:06 pm (UTC)My hair doesn't need balance, body, or lustre. As you can see at no cost to yourself, my hair is perfect the way it is.
It is possible that I breathe in an evil way, I suppose, although you think I'd've noticed by now.
People are people. I hear it's terminal. Sad, really.

Date: 2004-08-25 07:15 pm (UTC)Perfect except for all the styrofoam packing peanuts, you mean.
And yeah, y'know, looked at one way, life is 100% fatal. But that's kind of a sucky way to look at it, I think. If I notice you breathing evilly, I'll let you know. :)

Date: 2004-08-25 07:38 pm (UTC)I'm going to be picking styrofoam out of my hair for days, thank you very much. Ugh.
Hey, you're the optimist, not me. I'm entitled to be bitter and pessimistic, plus none of you would know what to do with me if I wasn't. (And see that you do let me know. I'm curious to know what it would sound like.)

Date: 2004-08-25 07:43 pm (UTC)You're entirely welcome, if you find you've run out I apparently have a metric ton of the stuff. ;)
I think I could probably figure out something to do with you if you weren't. We could go to Disneyland. And visit the Small World ride. And then you'd be all bitter and pessimistic again, because that song is engineered to drive people insane.
Darth Vader, maybe? He breathed evil.
