I am sure that all of you heard what happened yesterday -- I can't imagine you didn't, as I think it was audible in Norway -- but as I am thoroughly bored with the topic I shall endeavor not to betray my family further by having a personality. It appears being kidnapped by a mad demon lord counts as disgracing the family name. As they're dead, I'll reserve my judgement there.

I will say that in case anyone's forgotten, I'm not the one who got the mafia to kill my parents and almost the rest of my family when they came after me. I'm just saying.

Despite the urge to take off for someplace quieter (I'm guessing disappearing somewhere warm where it's legal for me to drink as much as I need want would be against the rules? Someone tell me I'm wrong), I think I'm going to go and see if I can't go and work the rest of my thoroughly bad mood away. (Gloves this time. Really. Bloody hands not actually attractive, as it turns out.)

You know, if memory serves, you and Piotr were on rather poor terms before your abduction. I'm not entirely sure why he seems to expect that to have smoothed over without any explanation - in my experience, absence makes the heart grow fonder only in Hallmark cards - but, it's his loss.

Alas, no, I don't think zipping off to another country to indulge in a few drinks is generally allowed. If it were, Lord only knows how many of us would be young, globetrotting alcoholics, with the amount of stress this place can put on people. If you want some help working out your bad mood, though, I might be able to help in a day or two - I can be a very resiliant guy, when I put my mind to it, and I find that punching bags aren't nearly as satisfying as taking a few swings at something that can actually move out of the way. Makes it a bit more of a challenge.

Just need to get a thing or two taken care of first, swing by Samson's office, but then, I'll be at your disposal, if you'd like.

Because Piotr is an idiot who makes rocks look smart in comparison, and whose emotional capacity ceased to increase after the age of five. It's quite simple when you think about it.

Oh, I don't mind. Maybe we can bribe Pete (Wisdom, the likable Pete, and if that isn't the most bizarre thing I've ever said..) or Nate into being there when we do, we can turn it into a learning experience. Extra-productive stress relief is one of the best kinds.

Speaking of which.. I need to go ice my shoulder down. Scott helped me with productive stress relief tonight. Ow.

Of course I said it. No one else is nearly bitchy enough to say it; it's my duty to fill the void.

Hardly bizarre saying it if it's true. Learning experiences are good -- as I said, I'm rusty, hardly as fast as I get, so I hope you'll take it easy on me. I'm all for stress relief, really, not matter what format they come in. (I find it highly unfair that I can't use my powers for my own good, though. What if we desperately needed, I don't know, an expert on the Bahamas? Someone would have to take the hit and go...)

Re: the shoulder, if you can, alternate heat with ice, unless there's a lot of swelling. Helps the muscles keep mobile -- they don't much like being frozen.
